Oh my god! Can you believe it’s the last day of July? Wow. I think the days pass by so fast

anymore flying by with speed, before you know it, it will be Christmas again.

So, let’s chat about my current WIP. As I like to call it, The Brigade series. The formal title of

my next five books are Brigade Trucking Company, and the motto is “We Deliver,” which is best known as their “Satisfaction Guaranteed.” Heehee...

Each one of the truck drivers will get their own book and let me tell you, the stories of each one will be vastly different just like their personalities. I am so excited over this series as many of my readers love shape shifters just like I do so I thought- why not- Why not create a series of shape shifter books and make each unique shape shifter a truck driver? I don’t think it’s been done before and you know how I like to be the first, in anything!

Where did I come up with the idea of truck drivers for a shape shifter series? Well, I blame it on my hubby. He pursued his Tractor trailer license (CDL-A) many, many years ago and got it.

Sadly, driving through local traffic was just too tough for him so he does not drive the big rigs

anymore. Most of my knowledge comes from his limited days on the road, though. It was tough being a truck driver’s wife. The weeks ended up being very long with me seeing him only late on Friday night, all of Saturday, to have him leave in the middle of Sunday to head back to Jacksonville, FL where he worked.

When they say authors write what they know, it’s true. It’s the best way to get a story done. (use your knowledge and create an adventure).
