Answer: My former fluffy German-Shepherd mixed dog, Kaley.
Kaley was a 6-month-old stray living amongst a pack of wild dogs. She was a German Shepherd mix, and we found out later, that the other half of her was Golden retriever because of all the wild, soft fur she had on her. I received her from a sweet friend of mine, for free. Kaley had dragged herself up to my friend's fence and after she got along with my current dog, Chanelle, we adopted her. My friend paid for the surgery she needed and she was able to walk and lived eleven and a half years with us. She was a cheese lover, taquito thief and popcorn connoisseur. She also stole and ate an entire block of cheese and a piece of pie without my knowing it. I loved her so much and dedicated my first book published, Nightfall, to her as she was the inspiration for the wolf part of Josh. ❤❤
Nightfall has remained a beloved, timeless masterpiece ever since it was first published more than ten years ago. I thank all of my readers and fans who still tell me how much they enjoy this book.
